Summary of Competition Rules: - Approved 12th July 2006.

1. Order of Play; The convenor, with the President or his appointed representative, will determine the order of play as follows;

- The first group will be The President with his selected partners.

- The constitution and order of the other groups to be determined by a draw supervised by the President (or his duly appointed representative).

2. Members handicaps; These are to rely on the honesty of members and are the official club handicap of each individual except where that member has already won a competition earlier in the year concerned.

3. Individual competitions; All such competitions to be played in 3 balls.

4. Four Ball Better Ball competitions; These shall be played as 4 balls, but if there is an odd pair they are to be trusted to mark their card, if the balance is a 3 ball then each of those players will mark for the other 2 (e.g. A marks B+C; B marks A+C; C marks A+B). There will be no compensating adjustment as the competitions are social! No member may win more than one prize.

5. Rules of competitions; All competitions shall be off full handicaps (without a maximum). All except a "best gross" competition shall be played in Stableford format to speed play. During the "best gross" competition all holes need to be scored, but the "net" score on that day will still be treated as a Stableford.

6. Presidents position; The President, having consulted with any committee members present, may amend the above to suit any particular circumstances which may arise. His decision shall be final.
